The Global Equities Opportunity Fund is an Australian unit trust that invests in long only multi-currency equities listed on recognised global stock exchanges, in stocks identified within themes or sectors.
The Fund Manager does not target index related returns and aims to provide consistently high returns over the longer term, regardless of economic or market outlooks. We believe that a concentrated portfolio provides the best opportunity to create superior returns from high conviction ideas.
Global investment opportunities are identified by sectors, sub-sectors or industry groups that display secular or cyclical growth trends which are considered as not being accurately recognised or appropriately priced by the market. Once these sectors are idnetified, the Fund Manager seeks to determine individual stocks within these groups that display opportunities for out-performance.
