Michelle is responsible for creating and executing investment opportunities, enhancing the value of existing assets, and all banking and funding arrangements for Ivany Investment Group.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Western Australia and is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as an Associate of FINSIA.
Michelle has a background in corporate finance and banking. Previous positions Michelle has held have been with Arthur Andersen, Wesfarmers and the Commonwealth Bank Treasury Department where she was responsible for Capital Management (hybrid issues, equity raisings, dividend underwriting, share buy-backs, share purchase plans etc).
Some of the Michelle's recent achievements with Ivany Investment Group include:
- Implementing successful asset protection strategies in mid-2007 prior to the market down turn
- Off-market takeover and privatization of a listed investments trust
- Renegotiation and extension of the Group’s funding arrangements
